There are many issues with the O2 website with outdated information and broken links. I really like the look of the O2 IE website. It looks neat and sleek with announcements displayed prominently on the home landing page. Any updates to the website are announced beforehand : http://community.o2online.ie/t5/Announcements/Outage-on-o2-ie/m-p/567376#M116

I have also noticed that there are admin staff who will answer and resolve direct customer account problems. Just one of them linked here:

http://community.o2online.ie/t5/Billpay/Can-t-send-texts-or-access-internet/td-p/554786

Browsing the community will show many such instances.

My question is; Why can't the O2 UK web team be as diligent and efficient as their Irish counterparts??

O2 UK just go offline without prior warning such as 11.40pm tonight!!

Untitled1

I think it's been well documented previously by community members and suggestions have been asked for and we have put them forward. I think implementation is long overdue!

What was that about, I got kicked off at 1am and now at 1.15am it's back up, and so is join-in-o2.co.uk which suggests they're on the same servers?

The Join In site is actually terribly slow at the moment and has been for the last 2 weeks. Indicative of the whole O2 web team and their inadequacies at the moment!

I only use join in to fill in the odd survey now, the rest of it is boring and I've lost interest really.

As long as my income level keeps up! Smiley LOL

Sounds as if they've closed the membership.

Too many ranters and ravers already perhaps?

I seem to remember initially it was by invite but maybe the servers can't cope now with so many subscribers. It's painfully slow and I have to be bored out of my brain now to actually visit the site let alone participate.
