I have been on 02 simplicity since march, with 2 sims cards, one for me and one for my son, now just today my phone number recieved an upgrade message, but my son hasnt and theres nothing on his 02 account online despite both sim cards obviously being registered at exactly the same time, is he meant to wait for a text very very soon like mine, or does this meen that only one person gets to upgrade? I thought all sim cards where seperate, but this doesnt make sense.

Hi @Anonymous are both sim only contracts in your name? If this is the case then this is the reason only one text has been sent. Obviously both sims are eligible for upgrade at the same time (March) as the contracts run for a maximum of 12months. He may still get a text to his number ..

The best place to check is in My O2.
Texts are sent out to batches of numbers at the same time so it's likely your son will get a text in the coming days.
