I do sympathise but I suppose bottom line is that O2 are a business and many people could claim extenuating circumstances. A big bill but presumably you went way over your allowance. It's a shame people didn't call you as it's obviously free.

@Anonymous Sorry to hear you've been ill, and hope you're now recovered, but how was O2 supposed to know you were in hospital and why would it be O2's fault that your mobile was your only method of communicating? Was the high bill because you went over your tariff allowances?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Hi @Anonymous I do know that most hospitals allow patients to use their WiFi. I am sorry you didn't realise this but had you asked one of the members of staff they would have given you the password to use. There may have been a small daily charge but nothing as steep as using mobile data for the length of your stay.

I am sure if you contact O2 again...you may find an advisor who is or more sympathetic to your issue

Unfortunately, if you use your phone, you need to pay for it.
By all means leave O2 at your earliest opportunity but I don't know of any networks that will give you free services.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
