02 Calling Tunes / Answer Tones?

Hello, I'm just inquiring whether 02 provide a similar service to oranges calling tunes or AT&T's answer tones? This is when you call someone you hear music in the background while its dialing.

No.
T-Mobile is the only UK network offering the calling tune feature. But not sure whether T-Mobile is still offering it though.

The service you are enquiring about are called in the trade - Ringback Tones. In the UK there are 3 services - Orange UK have Calling Tunes, T-Mobile UK have Caller Tunes and 3UK have Dial Tunes. None of the other operators have launched this service yet in the UK. Although both O2 and Vodafone have looked at it. All three services today still exist and are working. I know because my company runs the service for the Operators. In Europe today the best Ringback Tone Services are actually run by O2 in the Czech Republic and Telefonica in Spain (who own O2)- so it is a surprise that O2 here in the UK, who are seen as the leaders in music with the O2 sponsorship, do not yet have this service. Would anyone from O2 like to comment?

Do o2 still not support these? I heard a really good only fools and horses one the other day 😞

I doubt they will. Apparently there isn't a good take up on networks that do have them.
