Will I be able to get a contract?

Anonymous
Not applicable
Im 18, no previous credit history.

Just worried as i will be booking thursday off work and going down to my local o2 shop.

Last thing i want is to be in a queue of people and about to sign a contract and get turned down because i didnt pass the credit check.

I am planning to go onto the £40 a month for 24 months contract, paying £89 for the phone.

Any thoughts on the situation?

Thanks

O2 are only allowing exisiting customers to take handsets on launch day so you will be turned away anyway.

As for the outcome of a credit check, who knows. It might be a decline, or a bond or an accept. It depends on different things, but I'd at least expect a bond.

as u dont already have a iphone contract , you wont get a new iphone4 as its for current customers for now

a bond is a deposit which u will get back if you dont do a runner from o2

Right to clarify....

I've just called O2

And the guy was sure that O2 Pay and Go Customers can go into an O2 store on Thursday and buy an iPhone on Contract

So pay and go customers are okay to get one slight_smile
