I run a business where my mobile phone is crucial. My phone was stolen on Friday evening and O2 was notified first thing on Saturday morning. They assured me they were blocking my phone.
My insurance company are not able to progress my claim until they can see that the phone has been blocked on the Patriot system and the phone is still showing as live. We are now on Tuesday morning.
Despite my 6 or 7 lengthy calls throughout the day to O2 on Monday and this morning, my phone is still not blocked. Each advisor tells me something different and each time I am kept on hold for 30 minutes plus. It's beyond frustrating and is most likely losing me business.
How do I get O2 to block my phone and send a replacement SIM. I get nowhere by calling them.

Unfortunately you need to keep trying with customer services @Blocking .
Have you tried the social media route (assuming they cover business accounts) ?

@Blocking
One way to check if its blocked is to check checkmend, and it should show if it is blocked, as the system the insurance company are using may have a delay in been updated.
Its just a thought and a check you can do yourself.
