Setting up my phone

I have switched from vodafone to O2 and I deleted my vodafone esim to try and set up the o2 sim as an esim.  That didn't work so I tried to logon to my account to sort it out - I need to get a text to do that so can't.  I tried to get an esim instead but can't do that either.  Can someone help?
