We are a small business with 15 phones with O2 Business and one of our staff is leaving. He'd like to take his phone and number with him but stay with O2.

Can anyone tell me how we go about organising this?

@JP22

They will need to get a new sim from O2 on their own contract and then migrate the number to it.

Credit checks will be applicable and termination fees also if minimum term of contract has not been met.

Just to add to the advice given you will need to give authorisation as the "owners" of the number to o2 in order for it to be migrated, the current user cant do it all themselves.

What we do from my own experience and its a bit of a convulted way is give them a PAC code, to move the number to a different network's PAYG service usually if staying on o2 to giffgaff  and then they can move it back to o2 at their convience.. we find this works a lot better than o2 trying to a business to consumer migration, and makes it a lot cleaner .

Good luck.

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
