Recently switched from Sky to a sim-only deal with O2 and no longer receiving the above texts ... is there something in my settings I need to change? All other texts and iMessages seem unaffected. I've added the number to Contacts so it is known, and also checked its not a blocked user.

Thanks - I have no spend cap. Turns out after more googling, all I had to do was turn wifi off temporarily, request a code, and once it had come through turn wifi back on. Now working fine. Posting in case someone else has same issue.

If you have a spend cap you might need to get it set to £5 instead of £0 as that SOMETIMES interferes with texts like this.

Unfortunately you will need to contact customer services to do that @clarkie1827 - you can message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).

Hi I have had the same issue. O2 and Samsung no help at all for 10 days. Solved it by going into my Samsung account which has verication settings. I deleted my old device turned off wifi and used data. I started to receive the MSG's. U may need to mess with the odd setting in there
