Just returned from one month in the USA.
I have 2 phones. Both had "Mobile Data" switched off before we left the UK.
I switched mine ON for the last day, but when I got my bill there are multiple charges of £7.50 for data roaming on the phone which was NEVER switch to "Mobile Data ON".
Also when I switched my data ON I received a text message from O2 confirming "Rest of world 24 Hour pass".
The other phone NEVER received ANY texts from O2 but had Multiple days charged at £7.50 per day.

You need to speak to Customer Services on 8002
Also note if you have WiFi Assist on, and it has lost connection it overrides the data settings and kicks in.
