Hi,
I have read several topics about voicemail, about vvm mostly, but I haven´t found an accurate answer for my problem, so I would very grateful if someone can help.
I am experienced some problems with the voicemail. I received a message yesterday and after listen it I wanted to delete it, but there seems not to be an option for this. I´ve got an iPhone 4S.
Also, including after listen it, there is still the red icon in the front.
So, I´ve got two questions:
First, is there any way to remove the listened messages?
And second, how can I remove this annoying small red icon of my desktop?
Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi guys,
I found the answer to my problem, it was just that it´s necessary to set up the voicemail changing the pin code. Unless you don´t change the pin you don´t get access to the voicemail and you can´t save or delete messages.
I hope it could be useful for others.
Thanks for your help,

Normally once you have listened to your message you hear options of 1. to save 2. to delete etc.

Strange on my 4s when I hit voicemal I can delete any message tapping on the message then the red delete on the right at the bottom
The red dot is that with a number or just a red dot?
If just a red dot that indicates no data connection available to vvm if on the phone icon. With a number it is the number of unread messages.
Have you tried all the usual things like resetting the iphone etc?
Page 47 and 48 of the user guide here http://support.apple.com/manuals/iphone/ shows the normal vvm behaviour on the iphone

Thanks for your quick answer.
Unfortunately, the person who called didn´t say anything so I just hear a "twit-twit" as call ended and no options to delete or save.
The voicemail was activated as default and in fact I don´t want it, so I used the 1760 service to turn it off.
Thanks for the link!

Hi,
It doesn´t appear any option on my screen...
The red dot is just a red dot. I am connected with wi-fi.
i have a pay as you go contract so I haven´t got vvm, just voicemail, but I called to 1760 service to turn it off.
