"Could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscribed to a cellular data service"

I've had my iphone for about 2 months. I originally had a HTC Sensation that I really didn't get on with so switched back to my old iPhone4. I had problems when I first started using it where it wouldn't connect to the internet. Went to a o2 shop and it was sorted in about 5 seconds. But Tuesday (9th) it stopped working again. I haven't changed anything, haven't formatted it or anything.

Went back to the shop and no one knew what had happened, Then I saw that people were having problems anyways and assumed it was because of that. That problem has now been fixed... And I still have no internet/data.

I've tried changing it to mobile.o2.co.uk and wap.o2.co.uk... no difference.

Someone help? 😞

Thanks

You mention that you originally had an HTC. Did you get the data bolt on changed when you got the iPhone. The data bolt ons are different for HTC (Android) to iPhone. If you didn't get them changed then that could well be the problem.

That means you don't have an iData tariff.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
