iphone 6s - O2 refresh

Anonymous
Not applicable

Just wondering if anybody who has used O2 refresh can walk me through this.

I have a device plan on a 6+ with £325 outstanding.  O2 refresh offers £350 for the device at present.

So when the 6s+ becomes available for purchase at the point of sale can I simply return my existing 6+ and begin a new device plan on a new device?  As apple have frozen the prices in the states presumably the prices will be very similar in the UK.

Therefore would I be right in thinking that in 12 montsh time I will again be at an almost identical point in my contract and would be able to return the device (effectively for nothing), take a brand new device and teh contract for teh device merely keeps rolling?

I appreciate that the downside here is that you always remain in hoc to the contract but the positive is you always retain a phone in warranty, and always have an up to date "fresh" device.

Am I missing anything.

thanks chaps and chapesses and enjoy the next few weeks.

If unlocked, get a printout of cex price of £333 then go into Game and sell to them for 5% more giving you £349.
If locked doing the same process will get you £298.

£539 new for the cheapest one - tbh the bottom has fell out of the iPhone world these days. People are getting wiser wink

Unlike Samsung...they don't seem to hold their prices well. I still remember being excited when the Note 4 came out thinking I would get a good deal on a Note 3...not a chance...It held it's top of the range price for at least 6 months after launch of the 4

So refresh with the iPhone you've kinda got get to use to being out of pocket if you wanted to change 4 months in 😞 boooo lol I expect to lose a little but think I'll give it a miss then I owe £360 still on device plan was hoping I'd get £400 then put like £200 down for iPhone 6s so like I'm putting £160 up aren't I but sounds like I'll have to wait because I'm not selling for £279 after 4 months of owning it rather my daughter use it as an iPod Hahaha thanks for the insight 👍
