Has anyone received their tracking for the iPhone 7 yet? Have seen a few people say they have but nothing for me, and I've been told to expect it on the 16th!

First time poster, but been following the posts with interest.

 

Just off from Live chat and have been promised that my 7+ (matt black, 128gb) is waiting to be dispatched for arrival tomorrow by UK Mail.

 

I'll believe that when I see it...

CSyes , you are correct , you placed the order on the first day of pre order 09/09/16 , you don't have to worry , I've checked that your order is ready for dispatch , once it will dispatch  we will send you the confirmation email with the tracking number to track the order
ME: if my order is ready for dispatch, does that mean there is a phone sitting waiting for me or o2 are still waiting on one being available?
CSwe have dispatched the few orders within 2-3 hrs and   so you don't have to worry , your order will also soon be dispatch and you will get the confirmation email once it will be dispatched with the tracking number.

JPCan you say that with authority? I was under the impression that DPD do not deliver on Saturday/ Sunday

@Anonymous I was told the exact same thing as you as I also ordered on the 9th and I was told that my order is ready for dispatch to be delivered tomorrow by uk Mail so fingers crossed!

Same here. Got through to a Customer Service person viz chat and was told to expect an email and text at some point today with delivery information.

Shame I won't be getting it today. 😞

I have still haven't recieved a text or anything from o2 at all. There is no communication at all. I ordered at 8:20 on the 9th! All i have got from o2 is a email saying "my order is being processed" I go on my orders on the o2 web page and the status is "in progress" There is no delivery details at all. I was expecting it today has i haven't received a text from o2 saying that i won't get it. WTF is going on.

I have been speaking to the live chat "gurus" which are are about as clueless as we are. They take your details and pretend they are checking then copy and a generic statement "we are working as hard we can to get to all the phones out we have prioritised your order"

Then can't give you a definitive answer. "You'll receive a text/ email when we dispatch your order"

I just want a answer i don't care if it comes next week or the week after just want to know SOMETHING. Why can't they say it will probably be shipped next week.

Now I'm being told that "ready for dispatch" doesn't actually mean ready, just means the same thing as when the order was first placed. Could be tomorrow, could Monday or it could be any day between Monday and Friday... Basically, o2 have no clue when phones will be dispatched and refuse to even try to give some sort of useful information 😒

When you pre-ordered, you’d have been shown an estimated delivery timescale on the order page. For some customers, this would have been today – 16th September – but due to the market-wide delay in receiving iPhone stock, some of those customers won’t have received their delivery when they expected and we’d have sent a text to update them. For other customers, we aim to deliver in the original timescale quoted during your order and you can monitor ‘My O2’ for status updates.

Haven't heard anything from O2 since my first confirmation email last Friday at 11.14am. An update email or text would go a long way to keep me sane. iPhone 7+ 128GB in Matt black ordered. As I am in Germany for a holiday I can only access the O2 website via my mobile which doesn't allow you access to your order details. Went into the Apple Store in Berlin today and had a play with the new phones. It was very busy!
