Hello All,
I have been given a 02 Open code from a friend, today I went into a o2 store to pre-order the iPhone 6 and was told the open code cannot be applied to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus because o2 are delaying the open code discount for iphone 6 and iphone 6 plus handsets. Is this true??
I don't see that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus is not mentioned in o2 open code discount terms and conditions - http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/rewards/o2-open-terms-and-conditions
Thank you,
Phone folk

They are always excluded for around 6 months after launch I'm afraid.
Same with the previous models of
iPhone on launch.

If you call CS on 202 they should be able to confirm one way or another.

"Are there any exceptions?
We don’t include iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Pay & Go, any non O2 Refresh tariffs or business accounts in the O2 Open scheme."

Then that would seem to follow as on previous launches.

Thanks all
Does that mean I would have to wait 6 months to start a iPhone 6 refresh contract and apply the open code discount or can I pre-order the iPhone 6 now and pay regular line rental for 6 months and then apply the open code discount?
Thank you,
Phonefolk
