Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

So I've just been on live chat.

The first answer I got was that you will be definitely be in the next batch of deliveries that's expected in the next five days.

The second answer I got was that there might be a delivery in the next five days

The third answer was that it would be on first come first serve basis.

All I asked was when can I expect my phone that I ordered on the 16th

Talk about confusing

They will tell you anything just to shut you up, it's best to ring them as all chat advisors live in cloud cuckoo land.

Phone staff are no different, they may not say that it'll be dispatched that day but they have been saying no stock on the days people have received them

I give up now. I won't believe anything until I have the phone in my hand. It'll be interesting to see how O2 get out delay payback claim they made

Wen't on to the live chat and was stating it was unfair that according to the o2 website if you order a 6+ today you would get it within 5 days, yet I've been told by 5 different agents a mixture of 3-4 weeks, 5 days and 7 weeks.

 

He has promised to place this on a priority (which I know doesn't exist from working with O2), although I did receive an email shortly after stating my order is being processed and will be dispatched soon, which is identical to the one received after the initial order which I think is just them hitting "resend email" from the original.

 

We'll see but I'm not holding much hope, ordered an iPhone 6+ 16GB in silver.

well that was time well spent on O2 chat, asked when I can expect my replacement iphone, told me that it is a maximum of 1-2 weeks but it will be dispatched from the warehouse soon and he added to the notes of my account that as it a replacement I should get it sooner!

Yet he didn't know what I had ordered neither did he ask for my account details or security question, so as i far as I can tell looked at the worse case delivery at the moment on the website and told me that, not impressed in the slightest with that to be honest, I like the chat service its generally quick and gets your problem resolved but when you get this service its beyond a joke, i appreciate this is a busy time and we all want answers and exact times etc, but I find it pretty insulting really why not just say 'my apologies but I can't help you with an exact date as our exact stock is not known until we receive it in the warehouse'
