Just a quick question regarding the iPhone 6. Will customers due an upgrade for their phone be given priority over pre-orders of the iphone 6?

We don't need a crystal ball to tell how this one will go...

The problem is that we know O2 will continue to accept orders, and take payment for phones they don't have in stock. People will be threatening to cancel and go to the independents where stock is usually better then waiting what seems forever for money paid to be recredited. We continually hope every launch will bring better organisation but it never does and this is annoying for customers having pre-ordered with promises of launch day delivery.

...for sure, there will be shortages however, I managed to pick an iPhone 4 on launch day (queued up outside Kingston Apple Store!!) and also the iPhone 5 on launch day (ordered from P4U) so I'm hoping my luck will last at getting the 6 on launch day as well...!!!!

...why can't we get an official word from O2 regrading pre-orders?
If Apple tonight anounce that pre-orders will start on the 19th (as rumors are suggesting), we need an official statement telling us how it willbe handled!
I'm not prepared to pre-order from O2 if is going to be just pot luck! A pre-order should be a confirmation that you HAVE secured your iPhone 6 no matter what, on the day it is launched. It should not mean that you have a place in line, when and if, O2 secure more stock and if you miss out, your order is refunded to you (which is what it is looking like at the moment!!).
