Hi
1st message so please be kind, I couldn't find a thread similar to this topic...
I updated to iOS 7 last night, and now I don't have access to iMessage from my telephone number. It works with my gmail & iCloud email addresses but not on my phone number.
Plus it hasn't activated yet. I love my iPhone 5 and it is doing my head in to get it sorted. I have tried all the work arounds on the web that I can find (reset settings, turn off & on wifi and airplane mode). Plus I have rebooted the phone. Strangely I get this or something similar sent to me by text message every time I try to activate it.

The same thing is happening with my wife's iPhone 4 when updated to iOS 7. I have called O2 couldn't get through as everyone is upgrading, therefore I contacted O2 via chat and they said it is a issue and will be resolved, when?
Does anyone what is going on or what to do?

Try the following if like me, you NEVER touched TuGo:
Ensure you have full backup (mine was to iCloud)
Reset and wipe iPhone.
Restore from iCloud backup.

I have had exactly the same issue with imessage and facetime. I have now had 30 texts from 07786 205094! It is also draining my battery like crazy.

All very strange really... I know several people who are on contract with no problem at all... As a possible solution, maybe suggest to ur friends to download and activate TuGo and then delete the account right away and see if that overrides the problem? Just a thought and worth a try:)
Will give it a try and report back.... Although it shouldn't be necessary as it all worked fine on iOS6

Hi All, I too was suffering from the crazy txt messages afte trying to activate the imessage and facetime. I finally figured out that it was TuGo that was interfering with the activation process. I had to open TuGo, delete account, then delete the app. Once this was done. Turn off Imessage and off Facetime activation. Re-start the phone (I did it twice), then switch on imessage and facetime again. It activated within 2-3 mins after that. Once done I then re-installed TuGo and all is working perfect...after 3 days of struggling it turns out that the TuGo system was intercepting the activation txt on the system and therefore would not send instruction to hand set. Just a note - if you have TuGo on any other device - delete it first.
I did everything all the websites suggest including wiping the phone, network settings, everything. If you have TuGo then this is the issue, if not - then sorry I just don't know what else it could be.
Good luck to you all

I have TuGo on my Android tablet not on my iPhone. Does this mean I need to delete Tugo from the tablet and delete my Tugo account then retry imessage and facetime reactivation?
