every time i try to access my emails when i'm not at home i get a message to say my mobile data isnt working. when i get home and use my wifi all my emails then appear as normal on my phone. is the password on my phone to mobile data correct?

Hi,
Remove your sim and give it a wipe down.
Is the 3g logo showing in the status bar on your iPhone near the O2 logo.
Can you access Internet pages on your iPhone at all ?
Or is it just your e mail that's the issue ?
If your using iOS7.
Settings > Mobile > Tab down to 'use mobile data for and ensure mail is toggled to on.
Try;
Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.
The apn settings for o2 data is :

Give o2 a call just to ensure your account is ok.
