Hi

Try these generic self help tips.

http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Self-help-guide-Is-the-network-down-for-me-or-ev...

If you can try another phone and a Payg SIM card as a process of elimination.

Clean the SIM card.

Download the MYNETWORK app to report the masts and ask around if others on O2 are having the same issue.

If all else fails speak to Cs to have your account checked.

Are you on a monthly contract?
If so, try Tugo http://www.o2.co.uk/apps/tu-go

EH3 8BE - Voice and 3G are awful - yet the O2 website says coverage is good - oh ye - well come along and try it for yourself!!

The website doesn't allow feedbak as far as I can see - why not?

If you have worked your way through the self help thread is posted the you can give feedback via downloading the MYNETWORK App which highlights to O2 masts that show as working ,but are not to the end user.

Have you tried another phone and or SIM card as a process of elimination.

Just trying to help. slight_smile

Clean your sim and reoot the phone.

From the status page re:maintenance: Not sure if this is the reason?

NOTIFICATION OF MAINTENANCE TO THE O2 3G NETWORK

We’re carrying out maintenance on parts of the 3G network between 10:00pm on Monday 9th June and 06:00am Tuesday 10th June.

This will result in the loss of 3G service to sites for up to 2 hours in these areas:

• Parts of Scotland, Highlands and Islands (reference number 2092848)

• Edinburgh City Centre  (2092849)

Our 2G network will still be working but data services, like using the internet, may be slower.
