Loads of bent iPhones out there - It will only be replaced by warranty if Apple accept it as valid so contact them directly if you want to avoid a run around.

Why do you think it should be replaced under warranty?
Just asking?

Hi

You would need to speak to them http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and also speak to apple via a Genius Bar appointment before using any insurance.

They may say it's user caused.

As I said - O2 will probably give you the brush off so Apple need to sanction it - They designed it that way so you need them to make a decision.

If you look on macrumors in the iPhone boards and search "bent iPhone" you'll find lots of information and advice.

I'm just curious as to "why"
I'm not having a pop, I'm genuinely curious as to what terms of a warranty a bent device, post sale, would come under.
I'm sure this is the first one on here so would like as much Info as poss to help in the future, should another poster appear

There have been lots of reported bent iPhones, many that appear to have bent through no fault of the user. Some people are managing to get them replaced under warranty but many others are not. This site might help you find a store that is sympathetic towards you:

See the homepage (http://oneofthenine.com/) for many comments from people who have had their iPhone bent, often saying whether or not they were successful getting it replaced. Basically it seems like a bit of a lottery and you might have to argue your case.
