My wifi hasnt worked for about 7 months, I have tried everything to get it to work but now I'm at the end of my tether about it.

Then either use their online service to return the phone or possibly use O2 's repair service but I would really go with apples route.

Which I phone are you using?

Have you changed your home broadband password or Internet provider? Have you replaced your router at all? Have you changed your routers name?

I'm not sure if its hardware or software because it greyed out way before the i0s 7 update.

Try the restore first.

If no joy then it's hardware and will have to go to Apple (recommended ) or 02.
