Basics are 18 years old, on the electoral roll andsome sort of credit score.

There is an excellent article on credit rating/scoring on Moneysavingexpert.com which will give you a fair understanding.

A good credit rating, be on the electoral role and have a permanent address for starters, probably some other requirements too....

Its the credit score I'm bothered about because I'm only 20 so I haven't had a chance to boost up my credit score yet. If I brought bank statements in and have been on o2 for several years will this make up for the credit score?

Each one is assessed separately, you won't get an answer here.

Even though your 20 you do have a credit score dw. It's probally just unknown at this point.(your a risk but not as much as a bad credit risk)

You may have to pay a deposit.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told

Someone who has not applied for credit such as an overdraft etc thus having a non existent credit score can be as bad as a poor credit score as a lender or service provider would see that as no one has taken a chance with you although like already said all applications are looked at in their own merits.

Sometimes contracts are accepted if the person pays an upfront fee.

Good luck.

Having a bank account will help as long as there are no bank fees on there.
