What Is The Best Way To Back Up & Restore iPhone?

There are 2 options to back up the iPhone:

1) iCloud

2) On the computer

There are also 2 ways to restore an iPhone:

1) From the back up on the computer or the back up on iCloud

2) Set up as a new iPhone

Apart from iCloud backing up less, are there any other differences between the 2 types of back ups?

Which is the best back up option?

Back to the discussion - I looked on the link that you provided adamtemp64 and it's very very helpful.  I got the answer I wanted - which was a comparison between the 2 types of back up and suggestions for the best. Thank you for your help

Indeed Adam, but a discussion all the same. I'm looking into reviewing what constitutes a discussion and what is an appropriate issue thread. I'll let you know if anything changes in the approach when I've had some time to think about it.
