Unlocked iPad Air not accepting my o2 Sim

I have an iPad Air that Apple have confirmed is unlocked and o2 have also said the iPad is not locked to their network.

The network settings say the carrier is o2 41.0

If I try a random sim I have that is not o2 then it works fine however if I try my sim which works in other unlocked devices then it gives me the error: Sim is not supported.

I’ve followed all guides on this forum and Apple forums and still no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Try connecting to iTunes on your PC.

Unfortunately I’ve already done this and iTunes displays the same message as the iPad. I’ve restored and updated the iPad, including putting it in recovery mode.

I will request a new sim today however after this I’ve ran out of options

Do you know how I can request a new sim?

Currently you cannot contact o2 via phone unless for emergencies and their Online Chat has disappeared

Thanks

Just choose any option to get through to an advisor.
