Ok so i tried the unlock link, but it asks me for things like tariff and two numbers i have recently dialled.
The iphone im trying to unlock is a brand new one given to me from apple because they broke my old one while trying to repair it. So the phone has never been used (i believe), i dont have an O2 sim. When i tried to use my virgin sim iphone said network not support etc and after days of going backwards and forwards they eventually said they had been contacted by apple and told the phone was locked to O2 so i had to approach O2 to unlock...here i am...!!! (struggling though) 😞

update... so i got by the request for two recent numbers etc by just typing anything in (00000) and it allowed me to put in my IMIe number and said "my request has been submitted...and well text you in 14 days".
Can i assume i have done it correctly and all i have to do know is sit and stare at my new iphone for 2 weeks
Thanks for peoples help, i will update if all goes according to plan....
