Email won't be working without internet connection. Try resetting your network connection, turn phone on and off, remove wipe and replace SIM and check your area for service issues http://status.o2.co.uk/

Double check you have the correct APN Settings, My father-in-law had the same problem.

text active to 1010 i think it is and if that doesn't help go into the APN settins and make sure whatever says

idata@o2.co.uk

is changed to

wap@o2.co.uk

Whether this is the right way about things I don't know as I'm an Android fanboy myself and only know limited info on Apple but it worked for him on his iPhone 5.

Hope this helps and MI5 please feel free to shoot me down if I'm wrong about anything here.

iData is if you have an iPhone data bolt on or not and that's about as far as my knowledge on these things goes too.... See you in the Android section wink

Had this problem since I updated to ios6. Changing idata to wrap worked for me.
