Hello,

Can anyone help me, I have a strange text message number from one of my phones, the family member who's phone it is on has no idea what it is and has said they haven't sent any messages to that number.

the number is 0012674165659 and the cost is £0.292.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They may have clicked a pop up advert & inadvertently signed up to some service

No you need to find out for sure how they managed to send the text to that number

@AnonymousIf you look into the link provided by @MI5 they do show background data on that number. http://www.telspy.org/static/helpdata  It appears to be a sweepstake scam. The only way to deal with it and stop it happening again is to report it in the link given previously by @Anonymous.ie
