Replacement cables!

Does anyone know where to get Apple certified lightning cables without paying Apple prices or any other trusted brand for that matter?

I’m finding out these cheap knock offs don’t tend to work as charging & data cables.

Your help is appreciated.. as are links, donations & sugary treats!

If may be a mute point because it states they don't know when or if the cables will be back in stock. Obviously there is no price showing at the moment.

For £18.99 you might as well buy a cable from Apple anyway but I think paid £5 or £6 for that one in the link

@jonsiewrote:

I could be tempted by this :

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B072XCZT59/ref=cm_cr_othr_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8

That’s very tempting. Shame I don’t need a new one at the moment

Be very careful when buying electronics from flea bay especially if they are third party accessories

I wasn’t sure if it was going to be genuine,but as the price is around the same as what you quoted I thought I’d give it a bash. Is amazon a more reliable source for genuine goods?

In a word yes @Anonymous. Ebay is ok if you know the seller and they have a good rating. Personally speaking I would never buy anything like chargers or cables from them. Far too many 'genuine lookalike' items Much too risky.

In the same way I would buy a phone from Amazon but never from Ebay
