Removing old number from imessages

Hi

The temporary number that came with my new iphone before i ported my old number over is still the default imessage number (and is still showing on my device info screen as my main number)

How do i remove it?

It may update itself eventually. If not you can change it yourself if you have a pencil icon next to the number in My O2

Failing that, call O2 to reset your account. All numbers in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

I dont have a pencil icon so i will ring them

Settings >Phone >My number. 
Edit, save and reboot phone.
