I had a similar problem with porting my O2 number to EE 3 or 4 months back. Everything worked, absolutely everything, except people couldn't call that number. I gave it to someone on here who just got a beep trying to call me. My guess would be its an EE issue but I have to say their porting team were excellent. I was able to speak to them directly who assured me they would sort it within 24 hours. Also promised me a call back when the number was working. They did, two different people called me so I knew it was working.... O2 take note! 😉
Top class service which leads me to suspect it was an EE error.
