No service

I've got my husbands old iPhone 5c phone. I called 02 to ask for a sim which I have received. My husband requested his phone to be unlocked which he had received a email to say it has been unlocked. My new sim is in the phone but it's still saying no service. Any ideas?

Was it locked to o2 originally? If so a new sim from o2 should work regardless. If locked to another network then o2 can't help.

What sim have you received and did it come with a mobile number on the sim carrier? It's possible they have sent out a blank sim. Either call customer service or pop into your local O2 shop.

Sync the phone to iTunes (with the sim in you wish to use) to get any relevant carrier updates.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
