No Sim

Hi, can someone please advise on my next steps, I have had my IPhone 5 16gb for about 9 months and for the past week I have been getting the No Sim message popping up. At first I switched on and off, everything was fine, it started happening more frequently so I followed all the steps online re removing sim, cleaning, checking updates, etc, etc... Who do I now ask for help would it be 02 or Apple ?

Many thanks in advance.

I would make an appointment at an Apple shop, they'll sort it out straight away for you.

With O2 you would have to return it for repair.

Have you tried settings , general , reset, reset all settings.

Or hook up to iTunes to restore the iPhone.

Ensure the sim tray and port are clean.

You can just walk in but if its busy the Genius Bar won't see you.

Best to make one.

You could also try a new sim. Pop into your nearest O2 store and they will swap the sim for you and transfer your number and tariff. Could take anything from 5 minutes to 24 hours but could well resolve the problem for you.
