If your old and new phones are both with O2, you can use the Sim Swap item on your MyO2 "Support" menu (bottom-right) to move your number from the 4G SIM in one phone to the 5G SIM in the other - I used this myself back in mid-January, @louise272 - number moved within about 5 minutes.

You'll need to be able to see the serial number printed on the new SIM, and ideally have both phones with you as you start the move on your older phone, as the process starts by sending you an auth code from MyO2 to the phone with the older SIM in it.

If you are moving from another network than O2 to O2, then the guide given by @Enlli will tell you what to do - not that number transfers work Mon-Fri only, not at weekends (although you can start the process at any time). Good luck!

First thing is to check you have followed the relevant proceedures here

Guide: Migration & porting into O2

If that does not help

Message O2 on

Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
