Hi in ‘my o2’ my device is listed as my old iPhone 6 not my newer iPhone XS - do you know how I can change this please?

If there's a pencil icon next to the name of the phone, you can change it yourself.

I believe that that just changes the label in the app not the actual device details

You are correct @Kpr 

It should update itself, eventually, but if not you will have to ask customer service to do it, although you will probably be told they can't do it. But they can if you get the right person.
