Do you have your data turned on all of the time?

 

Even when you are using wifi, if you data is turned on then your data will still be used and drain your allowance.

 

If you are wifi then always turn your data off. 

 

It's also wise to turn data off overnight as some apps update overnight and this will drain your usage and may also drain your battery.

Do you use the internet a lot not on wifi also a lot of apps update in the background which uses up data

Have a look in settings to see what is using your data most.

Each app shows what data is being used.
