Still the same answer.
The 100 texts are included free, so you're not actually paying for them, and are provided on all data only tariffs.
Some Android devices do allow texting so can be used on them.

I have a new pro same as yours mate mine id currently is currently waiting for a friendly person with an iTunes on his computer to reset it I only had it a week and it crashed it's worth reading all the stuff on the Apple website but the new new iPads you can get different cellular plans for them there isn't there is iMessage on the iPad and there may well be other apps third-party apps that can send messages hope this helps
