Oh the irony!

 

Just had a pleasant chat with O2 CS to cancel my upgrade - expected similar crap to when ringing about the phone, but what a surprise - it was incredibly slick and efficient. Almost like O2 want people to cancel!

Anyone who is looking for a GOLD iPhone 7 Plus in 32GB or 128GB, Carphone warehouse have them available on there website and you can also buy them sim free, and apparently if you order before 5PM today you will have it tomorrow.

@Anonymous I had the same treatment after cancelling my order yesterday becuase i'd picked up a 7+ from Apple. There was no questions, no trying to get me to keep my order with them, simply had to confirm I was the account holder and password and that was it. Even my order status was updated within 30min.

Now I have to wait to see if I get this refund within 10 days.

I think o2 know they will lose customers over this expect a barage of sorry emails with decent offers to make you come back but for the time being they won't put much of a defense if people do cancel.

@Anonymous I got told 3-5days for refund... seems some things never change with O2, they just seem to say whatever comes into their heads at the time.

 

Guess it doesn't matter as long as we get it back!
