I have been charged for minutes??? contract is any time, any network minutes,unlimited.  This is my daughters phone and I was informed that she could not go over her allowance???  Why would I be charged for her calling a friend's mobile. If she has used up her data allowance, would this affect the minutes?

All standard U.K. Mobile numbers should be included regardless of data allowance.

Data will have no effect on minutes. It may be that she has called numbers not covered by her allowance or international numbers. Check here for chargeable numbers

You can check the numbers charged for in My O2.

As this is your daughters phone she may well have sent pictures or MMS (including emoji's)...She would be charged for those

I would think that's the most likely explanation @Cleoriff and at around 40p per message it will prove expensive.
