My wife had a network provider message to set pin for voicemail service, she did this but the annoying red dot notification wont disappear! i have tried tirning on and off both the phone and voicemail to no avail help plz

I ordered a phone through upgrade and I wasn’t able to provide a code since my SIM card wasn’t in the phone so I didn’t receive the code to claim the delivery and now the tracking says return to co-signer requested
