Phone upgrades

Both my son and I have iPhones on a monthly contract (my account for both). My device plan is paid off but my son still has a significant amount remaining on his but he could do with an upgrade and more memory, which I don’t really need. Can I upgrade my handset to the iPhone 17 but then “swap” handsets with him? If so, how would I go about it?

You could upgrade and swap with him

However you will need to take out a new tariff

Then just swap phones and sim cards over

Don't ask for a new sim when upgrading, choose to keep the same sim
