Have you tried connecting to iTunes for the latest carrier update?
Is it just you or anyone else on o2 not getting a signal?
Check for network faults here http://status.o2.co.uk/
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Anonymous Try carrier settings as that could be it as I think I read in another thread that there was 29.1 released at the same time & reboot your phone

I had the same problem. Lost my Carrier settings.

Done everything!

Eventually had to restore the device to factory settings  which then installed the Carrier settings and I was able to use the O2 Network

However, after restoring from a Pre iOS 11 Backup, lost the Carrier settings again.

I am completely out of ideas now
