sim swap resulting in failed text messaging

Hello out there,

My signal has been dropping so my store suggesed changing sim - I followed instruction, got my code and swapped my sim.  Since then have had no improvement in signal but now have lost all ability to send text messages. Tried online chat earlier but kept loosing signal - can anyone help - could it me a message settings issue? thanks

Modified or manufacturer ed as such? Maybe as they send out blank sims with a new phone.

The SIM default settings are programmed to that of the virtual network provider rather than the company that provides the mast power. This is what I meant and I apologise for the over-simplification of my statement. Maybe I was a little drunk back then.

 

Actually I don't really drink much these days so I'm only likely to make a mistake like that sober.
