Hi Sharyn

Welcome to the Community. We are all customers on here sharing our experience.

Without insurance it is unlikely to be covered under warranty. As a rule we don't recommend o2 repairers and would suggest you liaise directly with Samsung especially as your phone is only a month old.

They may offer a goodwill gesture? ??

Please let us know how you get on

Warranty is for manufacturing faults or defective parts that fail under normal use. Unfortunately you need insurance, not warranty.

Hi,

Some Bank Accounts provide Insurance as part of their added services.

Its worth checking their T&C's to see if they do and that they provide accidental damage.

Depending on the size and depth of the crack sometimes affixing a screen shield can stop it 'growing' and in some instances hide the crack altogether.

Samsung were unhelpful. Couldnt even estimate cost.

May try to get it fixed myself.
