i have a nokia phone that suddenly won't switch on

Check if it's charged up.

Try a different charger and leave it on charge for a while. 

Hold the power button for longer than usual to see if it helps.

Is it under warranty?

Can you pop into your local O2 shop to get them to check it for you?

Thanks i will try that do you know if i can take it to an O2 shop if i bought it from carphone warehouse it is under warranty

ok so phone switched on and now charging does anyone know if i can take it to o2 shop to be checked if purchased at carphone warehouse ?

Take it to O2 as CPW no longer deals with O2.

You can take it to either place as both will do warranty repairs if required.
