I'm really sorry I have no idea how to do that, I just tried and it was just a list of apps to buy. Only one I recognised was 'email for gmail' but think I have that anyway. I cannot work the blackberry for love nor money as they keys are tiny and I can't even get out of last text at the moment. I think I'll just visit  one of those corner shops tomorrow that advertise all sorts of phone things and pray they can actually do something for me as I have no idea what I'm doing. I have 2 gmail accounts but neither have contacts in them.

Thank you both anyway for the time you've taken with this problem.

Hi

Reference Contacts in GMail.

https://productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/gmail/iNgXoMJVC8Q Or http://email.about.com/od/gmailtips/qt/How-To-Open-And-Access-Gmail-Contacts.htm and https://support.google.com/mail/answer/118271?hl=en should give you an idea how to access them.

Which phone do you use ?

Have you tried a soft reset by turning it off, remove the battery ( handset dependant) and turn back on.

Some phones respond to a hard reset but this does sometimes delete any saved data. Just Google 'Hard Reset <INSERT your phone model here> and you'll get websites talking you through it. If theirs no power in it at all then the Hard Reset may not work.

If the phone is under Manufacturers Warranty then Google for their Uk Support Site and approach them for support.

If it's out of warranty then perhaps look at Home Contents Insurance and or Current Bank Account Cover as some do have Mobile Phone Cover built in. Excess Fee's may apply.

If you are now using an older Blackberry you may need a bolt on to use its facilities fully.

Let us know how you get on.

If they are sync'd, your gmail contacts will be here https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?tab=wm#contacts

If it's not a Blackberry 10 device you would need BIS to sync up with your gmail account and contacts, which coming from Android you won't have. Check online using the link MI5 has given you that your contacts have been sync'ed up.
