Hi got new phone and found it needs a nano sim and my current sim is a micro one, I contacted 4445 and they are going to send out a new nano sim, they said when I get it I can either  phone them to keep my same number or do it on line?

If I do it on line how would I do this please?  Also I presume once my existing number is on my new nano sim my pay as you go balance, etc will be transferred over?   Also what about any text messages and contacts on my current sim card will they too go onto the new sim card?  Many thanks Jules

Usually within the hour @joules

Your new sim will show the O2 signal on your phone.

You're old sim is dead now @joules so it won't do anything that requires a mobile connection.

Functions that run on wifi will still work though.

Hi thank you, using new phone, notice it has charged me for data I have not used as not connected the phone to my internet?

Also would you know how I can check my balance with 02 and top up credit on my phone, as the show balance and the top up credit that I used to click on my old phone is not there?

@joules

Turn off mobile data in the phone settings if you're not using it.

You can download the MyO2 app to get your balance and allowances https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-o2

or see other ways here http://service.o2.co.uk/IQ/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=Companion,question=ref(User):str(Mobile),C...

@joules

I've not had a Nokia for years.

You used to be able to turn it off on the older handsets.

I'll have a look for you now if I can find anything.
