Been waiting for the Samsung S3 4.4 update for a while and now its not going to happen !!

Now looking to buy Samsung S5 or Note 3 and maybe IPhone 5S possibly !:smileywink:

Exactly the reason why Samsung haven't tried too hard to get KK to work on the S3.

Anyone with the 4G version of the S3 (i9305) will be able to get KK though.

Remember, at least with an android device you still have the option of installing a custom ROM, so technically, KK is available now for your S3 if you choose to install it yourself.

Ever since the S3 4.4 update i have been looking at custom roms but have had a few hiccups in the past and a bit aprehensive to try it.

I think the easy safe option would be to upgrade to S5 or Note 3 but am fairly happy with the Samsung S3 and my old unlimited data tariff.

You could consider buying a sim free handset (costly I agree but just throwing another idea into the mix).

That way you get your new toy and get to keep your existing tariff (with unlimited data? )

The simfree route looks the most feasible at the moment, i think ill hand down the S3 and go down this route and keep my tariff.

Plus the other consideration i had was 4G but my area is not getting it until late this year/early next year and i dont want to move to Three just for the unlimited data even though people are saying ther are improving all the time.

Both good choices but remember the S5 Prime is due out soon so maybe hang on and see what that's like....

Yes thats one of the dilemmas just when you have decided to go for a particular model another variation is released. 

And then your always waiting for a better model to be released !!
