Is there anything stuck in the socket in the phone?

Honestly, they really should fit.... Sometimes a bit tight at first but after a few times they slip in quite easily wink

Yes, I think that's for the best - Let us know if they find anything stuck in the socket....

My LG G2 has gone the same way although it only does it with right-angle plugs which makes me suspect something is jammed inside or something else worn out in the connector. As far as I can fathom replacing or resitting the jack itself is a job and a half, where your virtually have strip it down to near enough a shell. So maybe I'll just live with it for now.

I put it down to overuse or something else wearing it out. Either way I'll just have to put up with it until I can afford to get someone else to repair it like maybe LG or someone qualified to the job.

Indubitably true. Samsung S21 Ultra and Xiaomi 14 Ultra
