My phone constantly comes up with the message no service, not registrered on network or emergency calls only. I am not happy because this has been going on for sometime now hence I have not been able to make important calls or texts. I am on pay monthly tarrif and I am still being charged.

There is also a help thread here to work through to help identify the issue https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-Pay-and-Go/How-can-I-sort-out-my-network-issues/ba-p/10140...
You will still be charged as per the T&C's but if it's a network fault you may get a refund for downtown as a gesture of goodwill once the issue is resolved.

You'll just have to drive somewhere with a signal.
